Arizona Issues RFP to Outsource State's Telecommunications

Arizona will issue an RFP tomorrow morning to outsource the state's telecommunication services. In a one-page brief Gov. Janet Napolitano and the Government Information Technology Agency (GITA) Director Chris Cummiskey outlined the project, in which the governor directs all agencies to participate.

Two other documents, an Executive Summary and the 16-page Telecommunications Roadmap describe the project in greater detail. The latest documents will be available on the GITA website tomorrow.
