Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal Signs 24 Bills Into Law

On Friday, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced that he signed 24 bills passed by the Legislature into law. Among them are the following IT-related bills:
- HB 751 - Wooton
This bill adds the crime of identity theft to the Louisiana Racketeering Act.
- HB1216 - Arnold
This bill requires all toll facilities in the state to be interoperable.
- SB 140 - Martiny
This bill relates to the electronic signature of a police officer on citations that are electronically generated and transmitted.
- SB 303 - LaFleur
This bill relates to the introduction of foreign business records in criminal proceedings.
