In an online lunch chat with riders on Friday, Washington, D.C., Metro Transit Police Chief Michael Taborn responded to a suggestion that riders be able to text message reports on unruly riders -- saying: "Right now, actually, we are exploring that possibility with our employees to allow them to send Blackberry messages to us. So if an employee in the system sees a crime as you've explained, they could send us an e-mail. If the pilot is successful, we will consider expanding that by establishing an e-mail address for the public to do exactly the same thing."
