Choosing the Right EAP Type for Wireless LAN Security

To ensure the security of a WLAN, its connection with wireless client devices must be authenticated and encrypted. This is accomplished through various encryption protocols including 802.1x, which specifies the use of Extensible Authenticatin Protocol (EAP) family of authentication protocols.
