Duluth, Minn., Streamlines Job Searches

The city launched a user-friendly software system that allows job-seekers to quickly find out about job vacancies.

(TNS) -- Duluth, Minn., has introduced a new software system for job applicants that will allow them to apply for several city jobs at one time.

The user-friendly software system allows job-seekers to quickly find out about job vacancies. They are able to submit online applications for numerous open positions concurrently. They also can sign up to receive notifications about new openings when they occur.

The city partnered with NEOGOV, the nation's largest cloud software for government human resources. The software streamlines the job search and application process for job-seekers. It gives managers better access to online records of applicants. They also can input minimum qualifications to more quickly sort through the applicant pool.

Duluth is among more than 1,000 cities and organizations that have adopted the cutting-edge online technology for its hiring process. The website is www.duluthmn.gov/human-resources/jobs.
