Minnesota Recovers Web Site Offers One Stop for Flood Information

Site will be updated daily with latest information from counties, state and FEMA.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty announced last week that a new "Minnesota Recovers" Web site is now operational. The site provides information for individuals, businesses and others affected by flooding in southeastern Minnesota.

Minnesotarecovers.org organizes local, state and federal information in a "one stop" location for people in the affected areas. Residents, businesses and farmers can find information about clean-up, applying for assistance, how to contact local, state and federal officials and much more.

"Providing one online place to go for information can streamline the recovery process for those impacted by the flood," Pawlenty said. "The site is being created in response to recent flooding, but it will be a valuable resource in the future, as well."

The site will be updated daily with the latest information from counties, state agencies and FEMA.
