Send Word Now Delivers Alerts From Anywhere Launched by BlackBerry Devices

First in industry to mobilize Alert Command to hand-held devices in field.

Send Word Now, a leading provider of on-demand alerting and response services, today announced the ability to initiate alerts for both emergency and everyday situations via BlackBerry smartphones in the field. Send Word Now is the first company in the industry that can mobilize alerts remotely using the BlackBerry.

As a result of its partnership with Wallace Wireless, the world's leading supplier of wireless crisis communication software for BlackBerry, Send Word Now has implemented Wallace's WIC software into its alerting and response service. WIC is the leading wireless software solution for fast, dependable content publishing and incident response.
