The state Training Centers' online e-Learning site, My SkillSource, features the most well respected business skills courses in the industry. State departments and all other governmental agencies in California will now be able to access courses from Harvard Business School Publishing's High Performance Management and Interactive Management Series. Other course libraries offered through My SkillSource include, Situational Leadership, Workplace Safety and Project Management Training for PMP Certification.
This is STC's first-ever e-learning professional development training initiative, and represents an addition to their existing Instructor-led and Virtual Classroom training programs.
STC's My SkillSource is a highly affordable training solution that offers a wide range of web-delivered courses, certifications, and training resources. Unlimited use subscriptions (to either a specific library or group of course libraries) can be purchased individually or in multiples based upon individual department needs.
My SkillSource updates its courses and reference materials continuously throughout a user's subscription, assuring the availability of vital, up-to-date courses. Training can easily be extended to users in remote locations, ensuring consistency in training to all employees throughout an organization. My SkillSource's anywhere, anytime appeal, combined with its extremely affordable price, will help address California government's budget issues associated with employee training and travel.
California Department Training Officers can benefit from My SkillSource's powerful learning management system, which enables training officers to track and monitor student progress on the site. A number of detailed site activity reports, including student attendance, course popularity, and course completion rates, are available with the click of a mouse.
The STC chose Enterprise Training Solutions after closely evaluating My SkillSource among other industry players. My SkillSource was preferred because of its high-quality interactive training and because of ETS's experience in the public sector and proven track record with e-learning support services.
The Department of Personnel State Training Center is the newest California agency to partner with Enterprise Training Solutions.
