City of St. Cloud, Fla., Achieves City-Wide Free Wi-Fi

The City of St. Cloud is providing free high-speed wireless Internet access to every resident and business in the city.

The city contracted with HP and MRI to develop the wireless solution. HP provides all monitoring, operational and support services on a 24/7 outsource basis to the city and its residents.

St. Cloud, a suburb of Orlando, is currently 15 square miles and has a population of 28,000.
