Google to Roll Out Free Internet Access in Hometown

Whole town will be a hot spot

Google, Inc. is rolling out free WiFi internet access for all of Mountain View Calif., making it the largest city with totally free Internet Access. As long as computers or laptops are equipped with wireless devices they will have access to the web-- the whole town will be a hot spot.

Minnie Ingersoll, Google WiFi Product Manager, called the initiative a "community outreach program" intended to give back to the Silicon Valley home of the multi-billion dollar company. "It has been has been tremendously rewarding to partner with the local government, the schools, the library, the neighborhood associations, and all of our trusted testers to introduce the power of free, wireless Internet connectivity to the city," she said in her bolg on Google's Web site.
