Gov. Baldacci of Maine to Receive Best of Web Award

Maine Gov. John Baldacci will receive the 2004 Best of the Web first-place award from the Center for Digital Government's Executive Director Cathilea Robinett this month in Augusta, Maine.

Maine's state portal captured the first-place award for its excellent innovation, Web-based delivery of public services, efficiency, economy and functionality.

Following the awards ceremony at the Maine State Library, government agency representatives will host six showcase tables featuring services geared toward Maine's businesses, with corporate and professional licensing services.
