Minnesota Releases CriMNet Progress Report

Integrated criminal and juvenile justice program

The Minnesota Department of Administration released "CriMNet Program Goals and Performance Measurement Progress Report" which analyzes the program in some detail.

"CriMNet is an enterprise architecture for criminal and juvenile justice program integration," said the report. "The enterprise architecture consists of five individual models that, together, serve as a 'blueprint' for the desired state, and define the elements required for successful integration." Included in the status reports are:
  • CriMNet v. 2.0 scheduled for May release
  • Five pilot counties have completed integration plans; additional grant process for planning initiatives currently in progress
  • MNCIS logical design of criminal and juvenile portions of MNCIS are on track for June 30 completion
  • The court Web services application, scheduled for implementation on June 30, has initial design and prototype completed
  • RFP for an out-of-home placement system is scheduled for July 31, logical design is scheduled to finish by Dec. 1
  • A probation file transfer process RFP is scheduled for release Dec 31.
