Miszewski to Step Down as Wisconsin CIO

Announced departure to staff last Tuesday

Wisconsin CIO Matt Miszewski, will step down at the end of February, to pursue opportunities in the private sector, according to the Wisconsin State Journal of Madison, which said Miszewski sent an announcement to his staff on Tuesday.

Miszewski has a long list of accomplishments, which made him one of Government Technology's 25 "Doers, Dreamers and Drivers." A past president of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers, Miszewski tackled tough consolidation projects and tight budgets in Wisconsin and received some criticism when e-mail and server consolidation fell behind schedule.
