David Taylor, Chief Information Officer for Florida's Department of Health, and Chair of NASCIO's Disaster Recovery Working Group said, "Disasters that shut down a state's mission critical applications for any length of time could have devastating direct and indirect costs to the state and its economy that make considering a disaster recovery and business continuity plan essential."
This DVD also examines the cost to states' day-to-day business activities if there were to be a disaster that shut down a state's mission critical applications for any length of time and will serve as tool to demonstrate the downside of loss of critical IT business functions.
