Online Education Resources for Indiana

Indiana residents have a new online resource to help them plan and pay for higher education.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana residents have a new online resource to help them plan and pay for higher education.

A new Web site, developed by USA Funds and wiredscholar.com, offers a mix of college-planning information and comprehensive tools for college preparation and financing.

"By visiting Indiana Wiredscholar, students and parents can explore the wide range of higher-education opportunities offered in the state and learn about Indiana's student-aid and college savings programs," said Stan Jones, Indiana commissioner for higher education. "Indiana Wiredscholar offers information to help Indiana students prepare academically and financially for higher education, explore career interests and options, and search for post-secondary education programs by major and geographic location."

The site offers a school-comparison tool, an affordability analyzer and an online scholarship search. It also includes step-by-step tutorials on applying to colleges and repaying student loans.
