Police Auction Web Site Signs 93 More Agencies

Online auctions of seized, unclaimed and surplus goods from law enforcement departments and municipalities.

PropertyRoom.com, the largest site for online police auctions, today announced that it signed additional contracts with 93 police departments and other municipal agencies by the close of December 2007.

"PropertyRoom.com's strong 2007 close reflects continued success with law enforcement, the core of our business," said PJ Bellomo, CEO of PropertyRoom.com. "And that success with police and sheriff departments has opened doors to city and county surplus, a growth opportunity going forward."

Founded by former police officers, PropertyRoom.com conducts online auctions of seized, unclaimed and surplus goods from law enforcement departments and municipalities. With more than 1,300 agencies contracted nationwide, auctions run the gamut from laptops and tools to watches, jewelry, cars and boats. Increasingly, auctions also include seized and surplus cars, trucks and heavy equipment.

PropertyRoom.com takes physical possession of merchandise, manages the auction Web site and then ships to winning bidders. This is all done in a fraud-free environment, with PropertyRoom.com managing the payment process and distributing proceeds back to local communities.
