The City of Chesapeake, Va., Public Works Department will be posting four traffic cameras live on the city Web site on Friday, April 4.
The purpose of the cameras is to monitor traffic conditions at key locations in the city. By posting the images on the City's website, citizens have the opportunity to check the existing traffic conditions in real time from their computer at work or at home. The cameras are deployed at critical locations where high traffic demand occurs. At this time, the four cameras are located in the Greenbrier area.
