NASCIO Announces Technology Innovation Awards Finalists

Winners of technology innovation awards in state government will be named at NASCIO's annual conference in September in Miami.

Massachusetts' health insurance website, Utah's government cloud and Colorado's transparency work were among 33 state government IT projects and initiatives named finalists for the National Association of State Chief Information Officers' (NASCIO) 2010 IT achievement awards.

One project in each of 10 categories will be honored at NASCIO's annual conference in Miami the last week of September. About 130 nominations came from the states, U.S. territories and Washington, D.C. The finalists were chosen by a selection committee of NASCIO members.
