MessageOne's emergency notification and escalation platform, AlertFind, was spotlighted at this year's annual Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Orlando, Florida as one of the top five "most interesting" technologies as rated from a panel of the symposium's more than 6,000 attendees.

In addition to MessageOne, technologies from Oracle, Cisco, EMC and IBM were also nominated by symposium attendees as the "most interesting" at this year's annual conference.

Carolyn Knight, Director of Information Technology at Implant Innovations Inc., was part of the survey and was quoted in the Symposium's ITxpo Times: "MessageOne's AlertFind is something that appeals to me because in Florida, disaster recovery is crucial."

In an emergency or disaster, AlertFind allows companies to reach out to thousands of employees, customers and other constituencies to deliver important messages instantly. To assist with crisis communications, AlertFind automatically sends out thousands of emergency notification alerts to designated individuals using each person's preferred method of communication (e.g. cell phone, email, home phone, etc.). With enterprise data security & access control, AlertFind enables organizations to create teams of users around business units, departments, crisis response teams, geographies, roles and to control which data and functionality each user can access.

The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo is one of the industry's largest and most strategic conference for senior IT and business professionals. This year's symposium included keynote speaker presentations from Steve Ballmer, CEO, Microsoft Corporation; John Chambers, President and CEO, Cisco Systems, Inc.; and Paul Otellini, CEO of Intel Corporation.
