This is being launched in the fall of 2013. It stated goal is to link disaster "victims" (I guess they have not heard Craig Fugate hold forth on using the term "survivors") to citizens offering resources and services--from food and water to mechanical services and a place to stay.
They believe that their research shows that communities with natural social networks are more resilient. I'd agree with that statement.
