American City Is a Drone Guinea Pig

San Diego is a test case for drone operations.

I've heard many people express concern about how average citizens will react to drones buzzing around in the air, delivering all manner of goods and services. Well we are going to learn some things as a number of initiatives begin in San Diego, see Surveying the Public in a City Being Used as Federal Drone Testing Site.

As part of that effort, they have a 25-Question On-line Survey for Citizens, which I took so that I'd have a sense for what information they are looking for. I think that was a good idea so that you have a sense for what the concerns might be.

I look forward to seeing what the outcomes of this two-year effort will be.
