Colorado--After the Flood, A Personal Tale

Sometimes it is good to read about the experiences of one normal citizen living through a disaster.

This is not the disaster survivor story of someone clinging to life in a tree as flood waters rush by.  It is perhaps a pretty ordinary tale of one woman and (I guess two dogs) who lived through the recent flooding that hit Boulder, Colorado.

Most of us can relate to the experience.  Sitting in our homes watching the wonder of nature and then realizing that "this could be bad, very bad."  It is an ordinary story, yet very well written from just one "survivor" who lived through the experience and is grateful that she was spared greater impacts.
