We (Center for Regional Disaster Resilience) just wrapped up our project with Northeastern University in Boston for using drones and lidar technology to inspect bridges.
I keep waiting for the hammer to fall with a drone bringing down an aircraft or being used as a weapon in a terrorist attack. We need as many positive stories as possible before that happens — to negate the fallout from anti-drone elements in our communities.
