FAA Looking to Approve Drone Flights over People

It won't happen tomorrow, but eventually this will happen.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is looking at what the rules will be to allow drone flights over people. As noted in a recent blog post, State Farm recently garnered a waiver for this very thing already.

I figure it could take two years before the rule-making is done. With the FAA granting individual waivers to specific companies and uses, they will learn a great deal from those pilot endeavors.
