High Staff Turnover Is Never Good

Alaska IT in turmoil at the leadership level.

See this story from Government Technology magazine, UPDATE: After Less Than Two Months, Alaska’s CIO Leaves.

The turnover in leadership described in the article is never good for any organization. When someone new walks in the door, there is energy and the possibility of new direction. Then, that is all washed away, and when the next person comes on board, some of the previous energy is gone.

Good, stable leadership can make a huge difference, especially when trying to change directions.
