History Channel: The Seven New Signs of the Apocalypse

This is a heads-up to anyone who might want to be forewarned about a television show that will spark some interest from some viewers everywhere.

Normally I don't mind a disaster movie.  They are many times good fun and for us emergency managers humorous at times.

However, as Julius Caesar was warned about the Ides of March, let me give you this 2016 warning, "Beware the History Channel and January 4th."  They have a new program airing, The Seven New Signs of the Apocalypse which is scheduled on The History Channel for Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 9pm ET.

I noted that "earthquakes" is listed as one of the signs...so there could be any number of people motivated to call and inquire what you are doing about this prediction...

I wish at least one of them might be a Washington or Oregon State legislator.  I could then share that we need to retrofit all our un-reinforced masonry buildings before they fall down in the great calamity that is pending.  Anything to get someone to take action--is appreciated!

One other program note:

As a past history major, I've noted that the History Channel has strayed from what I might call good documentary types of programming, in large part I'm sure to garner more viewers and advertisers.

Now I'm going to go back to digging my bomb shelter in the backyard, so please excuse me.
