How Churches Can Help in Disasters

An interview with Craig Fugate, former FEMA administrator.

See this short interview, How Churches and FEMA Can Work Together, with Craig Fugate on the topic of how churches can help with disaster response and recovery.

In the interview Craig stresses the need to establish a relationship by churches with their local emergency management agency. The shoe on the other foot is that emergency managers have to be willing to accept help in all its forms when it is offered. I've seen too many times when local emergency managers don't want to be bothered with volunteers messing up their disaster response.

The door needs to be wide open to help coming from many different directions.
