Possible Murder Charges for a Utility?

This information is sure to get some CEOs' attention.

Wow! I'm thinking that some utility CEOs are wishing they were were bank CEOs who were never found liable for the 2008 Great Recession and financial collapse.

See this story, California AG says utility could face murder charges if found liable for wildfires.

Perhaps we are entering a new era in liability and risk management. Might coal producers and utilities be found culpable for climate change?

I do believe in accountability, but some aspects of disasters like utility lines causing fires come from the rate payers not being willing to pay to underground those lines.
