Two Items About the Camp Fire in California

A body cam video and business impacts.

See this Sheriff Deputy's body cam video of his work at evacuating personnel from the fire. These are real heroes who serve and put their lives on the line for the average citizen. A disabled vehicle and he still continues on his mission.

Then, I was listening to a U.S. Chamber of Commerce webinar about the impacts of the California Camp Fire that destroyed most of the town of Paradise. Altogether there were 2,000 businesses in the area and 1,000 in the actual fire zone. Many of those were home-based businesses. Think about this, the utilities lost 90 percent of their customers. They won't have the customer base to rebuild in some cases. Lastly, they said if you want to help, giving cash is the best method.
