Technology megatrends such as nanotechnology, robotics, embedded intelligence, smart buildings and the “Internet of Everything” will dramatically alter the social landscape, as will extraordinary advances in energy production and storage. Some of it may be more hype than reality at this point, but there are some serious game-changers already in play and many more to come! In this session, nationally known energy expert Roger Duncan explores the road ahead and discusses government’s complex balancing act in keeping our nation safe, secure and prosperous.
