Arkansas Digital Government Summit 2016

Nov 16, 2016
Little Rock, AR

Overview

Government Technology’s passion is helping spread best practices and spurring innovation in the public sector. The Arkansas Digital Government Summit is designed to do just that. The summit has an advisory board that gathers public sector and private sector leaders to create an agenda designed to make that passion relevant and actionable to the state and local government organizations attending the summit. Participants tell us they use the inspirational keynotes, leadership discussions, networking breaks, and timely topics discussed in the numerous breakout sessions to help advance the goals of their organizations and their own career paths.

This Year’s Topics Include:

  • The Future of Cybersecurity
  • The Cloud Tsunami
  • Open Data 101
  • Dealing with the Information Deluge
  • Human-Centered Design Thinking
  • Lean in Arkansas
  • Threat Analytics and Machine Learning – Protecting the Connected Datascape
  • The Efficiency of Identity Access Management
  • Everything Is Connected

A message from our Keynote Speaker

The technology initiatives taking place in Arkansas state government are reflective of the state’s commitment to being a national leader in providing a robust, secure digital environment for our K-12 school system and an ever growing e-commerce-based economy. I invite all of my peers in the public sector, interested in working as partners to keep Arkansas on a forward moving path toward these objectives, to join us for the 2016 Arkansas Digital Government Summit.

- Mark Myers, State Chief Technology Officer
