Digital Communities Central Texas Regional CIO Meeting 2015



Local government IT leaders in Central Texas have gathered together with the leadership of Government Technology’s Digital Communities program for the past two years to discuss timely topics of interest for their organizations. The purpose of the Central Texas Regional CIO meeting is to provide a forum for collaboration and mutual support to Chief Information Officers and their staffs so that they can more effectively meet the IT needs of their government agencies and stakeholders.

Shining Stars from the Lone Star State

State and local government speakers will be invited to provide a 5- to 10-minute “ignite”-style overview presentation of a program, system, application, challenge or opportunity of general interest to the group. Presentations will be followed by Q&A and group discussion. (Government speakers to be invited following recommendation from Stephen Elkins, CIO for the City of Austin.)
