John has been working for the State of Illinois for nearly 30 years and has held various positions in several state agencies. This diversity has given John a unique insight into how the state functions not only from the technical side but also from the business side.

John has held the position of Enterprise Architect in the Central Management Services Bureau of Communications and Computer Services (CMS BCCS) Enterprise Architecture and Strategy (EA&S) group since the group was formed in 2004. John is responsible for working with senior leadership to identify technical standards, review proposed IT projects and procurements for alignment with state standards, and assist in the establishment of new CMS BCCS Services.
