Indiana Digital Government Summit 2016

Oct 20, 2016
Indianapolis, IN

Overview

Government Technology’s passion is helping spread best practices and spurring innovation in the public sector. The Indiana Digital Government Summit is designed to do just that. The summit has an advisory board that gathers public sector and private sector leaders to create an agenda designed to make that passion relevant and actionable to the state and local government organizations attending the summit. Participants tell us they use the inspirational keynotes, leadership discussions, networking breaks, and timely topics discussed in the numerous breakout sessions to help advance the goals of their organizations and their own career paths.

This Year’s Topics Include:

  • Donuts and Data Analytics
  • Fighting the Hard Fight – Trends in Security
  • Smarter Cities, the Big Frontier
  • Future of IT Infrastructure
  • Creating a Cyber-Aware Organization
  • The Case for Open Data
  • Next Gen 911
  • Virtual Reality in Government
  • Someone is Watching – Can You Manage IT?

A message from our Keynote Speaker

The Digital Government Summit is extremely helpful for government employees to maintain knowledge of the intersection of technology and government. The panels and speakers always provide interesting insights on how technology is impacting government. Each year, I come away thinking about ways to implement new technology to better benefit Hoosiers. The Summit is beneficial because it brings together decision-makers from all levels of state and local government and allows them to learn from each other while, interacting with industry partners.
