Minnesota Digital Government Summit 2016

Aug 2, 2016
Saint Paul, MN

Overview

Government Technology’s passion is helping spread best practices and spurring innovation in the public sector. The Minnesota Digital Government Summit is designed to do just that. The summit has an advisory board that gathers public sector and private sector leaders to create an agenda designed to make that passion relevant and actionable to the state and local government organizations attending the summit. Participants tell us they use the inspirational keynotes, leadership discussions, networking breaks, and timely topics discussed in the numerous breakout sessions to help advance the goals of their organizations and their own career paths.

This Year’s Topics Include:

  • Solving Real World Problems Through Data Analytics
  • The Threat Landscape and the State of the Internet
  • Tweak It, Keep It or Dump It?
  • Next Gen 911
  • Workforce of the Future – How to Recruit, Retain and Survive
  • Breaking Silos – Better Together Than Apart
  • Cloud Smart vs. Cloud First
  • Internet of Things, Smart Cites, and Its Impact on Government

A message from our Keynote Speaker

The Minnesota Digital Government Summit provides us with the opportunity to bring leaders in Minnesota’s IT community together to tackle our biggest challenges: the need to provide new and better digital services and to protect that data from rising cyber threats. I look forward to hearing from the speakers and our industry partners about new solutions that serve our most important customers - those who live, work and play in Minnesota. I encourage you to attend and look forward to seeing you at the 2016 Summit.

- Thomas Baden, Chief Information Officer, State of Minnesota
