This session will define shared services, provide insights on current trends and focus on what are the challenges and opportunities public service leaders face when launching and leading a shared services enterprise.

Colorado Shared Services Vision and Opportunity
The time has come to seriously consider doing business differently. The combined effect of several driving forces including; the economic recession, advances in technology and increasing expectations for citizen services, demands that we think out of the box. We are all feeling the same pressures and dealing with similar issues. We are One Colorado. As residents and civil servants, we owe it to ourselves to act differently, to find a way to build a shared services model that works for all of us. My challenge to you today is to break down barriers between our governmental silos and work together to find common solutions.
