Live Tweeting About Cool Government

I'm heading to Denver this Thursday, Nov 21, to give a keynote at the Colorado Digital Government Summit. For the last several months, I've been talking to governments about the idea of being "cool".

The word "cool" always catches the attention of my government tech audience, but the point I'm really getting at is the value in being relevant to citizens. Things like clever video parodies and viral blog posts - when done right - might actually have a place in encouraging healthy citizen engagement these days.

Data analytics company Teradata has been talking a lot lately about using smart data for engaging citizens. They'll be in Denver tweeting some notables from my presentation, and you can follow my speech by joining the conversation on Twitter. Catch their live tweets at 12:30pm central time Nov. 21. Follow @Teradatagov and look for hashtag #govgirl to join in!
