South Carolina Emergency Management Agency Standardizes on Wireless Sensor Networks

The South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SC-EMD) has standardized on AreaRAE wireless toxic gas monitors for its statewide emergency response programs. SC-EMD develops response plans and coordinates federal, state, and local resources for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery operations in order to save lives and reduce property loss. The state is now standardizing on AreaRAE compatible equipment to aid in data interoperability and mutual aid response.
