A Round Rock man accused of painting graffiti at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center on April 30 was arrested last week, according to a release on the city Web site.

Police identified the 19-year old suspect after a city employee using the skatepark discovered the damage and became suspicious while seeing him videotaping the graffiti. The unidentified employee used his cellular phone camera to photograph the suspect's license plate, leading police to the individual.

Investigators found the suspect's MySpace Web page, in which he posted videotaped accounts of his and others' graffiti, using the same moniker found at the Madsen Center. Police executed a search warrant at his home and seized additional evidence.

An arrest warrant charging him with the felony offense listed a bond of $20,000. He surrendered at the Round Rock Police Station on June 20 and was booked into the Williamson County jail, and faces up to two years in jail and a $10,000 fine if convicted.
