The California Secretary of State's Office will conduct a public hearing to receive reports and take public testimony on Sequoia Voting Systems' application to have its ranked-choice voting system approved by the Secretary of State for use in California.

California law requires a voting system to be approved by the Secretary of State before any county can use it in an election.
