William Pelgrin, director of the New York State Office of Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Coordination (CSCIC) and chair of the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC), was presented today with the McAfee Cybercrime Fighter Award. The award is given to an individual from government, industry, academia or a non-governmental organization who has exemplified outstanding leadership in the global effort to combat cybercrime. Pelgrin was recognized for his cyber security leadership within New York State as well as nationally through the MS-ISAC.
