Perry Names Bacarisse Presiding Officer of Texas DIR

Texas Gov. Rick Perry named Charles Bacarisse presiding officer of the Texas Department of Information Resources and also appointed Richard Moore to the department. Bacarisse is vice president for advancement at Houston Baptist University and past chair of the Texas Online Authority. Moore is retired vice president of business and administration for the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He is also a past member of the University of Texas System Information Technology Strategic Leadership Council.
