Wind to Power Cell Towers

A Southern California test will soon assess the ability of vertical-axis wind turbines to provide energy to cell phone towers. The turbines -- by Helix Wind Corp. -- will be installed by early 2010 and will also test the feasibility of selling power back to the grid.
