NEW YORK -- The New York County-City Civil Court was looking to streamline information from several state courts. Now, regardless of the value of a civil case, members can track cases through the City Civil, Supreme Civil and federal courts in one Web site.

New York County-City Civil Court may be searched by either the plaintiff or defendant's name, as well as by docket number. The search engine will either provide a single match for direct hits or a selection of possible close matches. Subscribers pay once for tracking for the life of the case or monthly. Discounts are available based on the number of cases registered.

The service from eLaw covers the New York Supreme Civil Court dockets across 13 counties: the Bronx, Dutchess, Erie, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk and Westchester; New York City Civil; and New York Southern and Eastern Bankruptcy Courts and New York County-City Civil Court.
