Taxi Drivers Watch Television Behind the Wheel

While in the U.S., states and localities consider banning the use of cell phones, texting and other distractions by motorists, a group of bored South Korean taxi drivers has won the right to watch television while in traffic. According to a BBC news story, Digital Media Broadcasting (DMB) beams television to more than 17 million mobile screens including those on the dashboards of taxis. A driver recently challenged a law banning TV watching while driving and won.
