Shannon Steffenson from the Seattle Housing Authority got tired of handling frequent calls from users that "accidentally" deleted a file. The time it took to get the data from off site backups was becoming a problem so they installed Executive Software's Undelete on their Windows 2000 networked file servers.

According to Steffenson, "Undelete has become our first line of response in these instances. If, then, we still cannot recover the file, we can then go to the backup tape from offsite, but approximately 95 percent of the time, we are able to use Undelete to recover lost files, saving us quite a bit of time."
