Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson announced that his office now has a new online presence at the state's official Web portal. The new site was designed based on input from Kentucky citizens, including business owners and attorneys who use the Secretary of State's online services on a regular basis.

The Secretary of State's Web site supports more than 1.5 million accesses per month, making it one of Kentucky state government's most popular Internet sites.

The newly designed Web site offers simplified navigation and easier access to high-volume interactive online services such as Uniform Commercial Code filings and annual business renewals. Information about the Kentucky Secretary of State's responsibilities, including business services, elections, administrative services, land records, and executive information, is also available through the Web site.

"This new Web site was created to make it easier for citizens to find the information and services they need," said Secretary Grayson. "I'm also pleased to report that the design follows accessibility standards, which take into account the needs of all of our citizens. We're making a serious effort to allow Kentuckians to conduct their business with this office online. By putting these services online, we conduct business more efficiently and effectively."

The Web site was built by the Office of the Secretary of State in partnership with Kentucky.gov, which also built and maintains the Commonwealth's official Web site.
