California Web Accessibility Conference

December 12, 2007 By News Staff

The 3rd Annual California Web Accessibility Conference (CalWAC 3) is coming January 14-16 to the California State University at Long Beach.

World renowned experts will share Web accessibility knowledge and skills at the California State University Long Beach January 14-16. Recognized experts, published authors, and leading practitioners in each technology will provide the most current and most dynamically presented material. Policy experts and experienced accessibility administrators will provide the non-technical sessions.

Three different tracks will available: Technical Track for Web developers, designers and programmers; Content Track for those charged with creating accessible documents and web updates; and Administrative Track for procurement officers, policy developers, and others who need support in choosing standards and ensuring conformance.

This event is for those who believe that the web should empower all people, for those who need information about how to meet state and federal accessibility mandates, and those who need a better understanding of emerging best practices for Web accessibility.
