Toward a Preferred Health and Human Services Future
The City of Tempes Procurement Office was presented the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award for the second year in a row by the National Purchasing Institute (NPI). The office received the highest score among all NPI award recipients.
The Procurement Office attributes its success to its effective use of an automated procurement system, development of a Model Procurement Code, and effective contracting and management practices.
NPIs members include cities, towns, counties, states, schools, universities and special districts.
