AT&T has launched its super high-speed Internet service in parts of Cupertino, Calif. with Internet speeds of 1 gigabit per second, the company announced this week.
Cupertino is the first city in California in which AT&T has expanded the fiber network.
The GigaPower network was first launched in Austin, Texas. The company is considering expanding the all-fiber network to 100 more cities during the next few years. AT&T has announced plans to deliver GigaPower in parts of Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Chicago, Houston, Jacksonville, Miami, Nashville, St. Louis, and San Antonio.
